Mahbub Hossain, a salesman at Akshar Publishing, said, “Sales are lower today than on Friday. Many non-governmental organizations are open on Saturdays, which is why many people could not come to the fair today. I hope the sales will increase as the days go by. ”

Jafrul Islam, the stall in-charge of the talk show, thinks that the readership has decreased due to the book fair not being held on time.

Jafrul Islam said, “Every time the book fair is held in February. But this time it is going back to March. That is why the readership has decreased. As a result, sales are low. Moreover, schools, colleges and universities are closed. Many have left Dhaka. Many do not want to come to the book fair because of Corona. All in all, this time the sale of the book fair has faced some challenges. ”
